CHEETAH knowledge Exchange Portal is an integral part of CHEETAH project web site powered and developed by DTE unit of ENEA ©2014 - 2018 with support of all CHEETAH Partners. Starting from early 2018, CHEETAH KEP moved its first steps to became EERA Knowledge Exchange Platform for PV Technology (KEPT-PV). A new name for the previous platform characterizing our will to serve better and more efficiently in Knowledge Exchange a wider European and International PV RTD community.

PV RTD Topics

Based on the CHEETAH KEP  catalog,  a  list of relevant R&D topics is proposed   for the main existing PV RTD technologies

  • It is a tentative list  that is dynamically updated following indication of CHEETAH and EERA-PV experts.
  • PV RTD Topic can be sorted by utilizing different criteria.

To each specific PV RTD topic is associated , when applicable

  • the list of available CHEETAH experts, infrastructures , equipment,
  • courses, technical documents with the aim of intensifying the collaboration and the knowledge sharing among CHEETAH R&D providers
  • access to information content   offered to  CHEETAH/non CHEETAH organizations  with the aim of proposing collaboration.

Intermediate band solar cell (IBSC)  aims to exceed S&Q by absorbing below bandgap energy photons. This is achieved by engineering a semiconductor-like material that, in addition to the conventional conduction band and valence bands, exhibits an intermediate band (IB). Many approaches have been proposed for engineering IBSC to make possibile absorption of below bandgap energy photons.
