Short Bio
Aldo Di Carlo is Full Professor of Optoelectronics and Nanoelectronics at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”, He graduated (cum laude) in Physics at the University of Rome “Sapienza” in 1991 and obtained the PhD in 1995 from the Technical-University of Munich (Germany). In 1996 he joined the Department of Electronic Engineering of the Universty of Rome “Tor Vergata”. From 2006 he is co-director of CHOSE. His research activity mainly concerns the study of electronic transport and optoelectronic properties of nanostructured and organic semiconductor devices and their fabrication. He is author / co-author of more than 200 publications, review articles, book chapters and 13 patents. Prof. Di Carlo has been European coordinator of a STREP FP7 project and node coordinator of several FP7, FP6, FP5 European Projects. He is CTO of the Dyepower a consortium for Industrialization of DSC for façade applications.
