Short Bio
Andrea Pucci received his MSc (1999) and PhD (2003) in Chemistry from the University of Pisa under the supervision of Prof. Francesco Ciardelli. He was visiting scientist at ETH in Zurich, at CBMM of the Polish Academy of Science at University of Manchester and at the University of Groningen. He joined the University of Pisa as an assistant professor in 2011 and he has been appointed as associate professor in 2015. His research interests focus on the preparation of field responsive thermoplastic and thermoset materials, of polymers for fuel cells and of thin film and bulk luminescent solar concentrators. He is co-author of about 75 publications including reviews and book chapters H-index = 21). He is an associate editor of RSC Advances.
